Before having Case my husband and I had two perfect boys, but we wanted to try for a girl. Needless to say, we were shocked when we found out we were pregnant with twin boys. Honestly, I was really upset at first, because I really wanted a girl. After a couple days though, I just kept thinking about how I was also disappointed when our son Levi turned out to be a boy , and how now I couldn't imagine my life without him. Soon I grew to be so excited to be having twin boys! I was forever going to be a boy mom, and how cool was it that I was having twins! My pregnancy with the twins was definitely more challenging than it was with my other boys. I gained twice as much weight as with my other boys, I was always tired, had extreme fatigue, and oh the nausea, but oh how excited I was to meet these sweet boys!
On Monday March 22nd, I went to work like any other day, and left a little early so that I could go to my OB appointment. At my appointment my doctor said well it looks like we are going to be taking the boys early. Shock hit me again! My babies were coming tomorrow! Immediately I called my husband, and my mom to let them know our boys were coming early. They were great and immediately made arrangements so they could be there to support me.
Tuesday March 23rd, the twins were born via planned c-section. My baby A was my sweet baby boy Case was born at 3:33 weighing 7 pounds 2 ounces. I can still remember the laughs of the OR when he started peeing everywhere as soon as he came out! Case was followed by baby B my baby boy Chase at 3:34 weighing 6 pounds 1 ounce. Both were just 19 inches long. From that moment my life was forever changed and my husband and I could not have been more happy! Our family was finally complete, and we were so blessed to be the parents to 4 perfect little boys!
